The evaluation of the data was performed using the software STARe. As result, a thermogram was obtained in which the heat flow of the investigated sample is given as a function of the temperature. By integrating the area under the heat flow signals, the enthalpy of the process was obtained. Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min the freezing point of the test item was determined to be - 23.5 °C (249.6 K).
