First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove promptly to fresh air.  If not breathing, administer

artificial respiration and seek immediate medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush immediately with copious amounts of water or saline,

including under eyelids.  Continue washing for 15 minutes.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray or carbon dioxide may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen. Also hydrogen chloride and possibly chlorine

self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect spilled material in a dry state in a vacuum cleaner

and place in containers for disposal.  Spillage site can

then be washed with water, but measures should be taken to

avoid wet waste discharge to drains/surface waters.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance should be used only in well ventilated work

areas, by process operators wearing protective clothing,

gloves, dust masks and eye protection.

No special precautions are recommended for the handling of

the imported products containing the substance.

Storage: Room temperature, in the dark.  Keep away from direct

sunlight.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Corrugated cardboard, each package containing 10 pasteboard

boxes in which one ink-ribbon and 50 receiving sheets are

packed.
