First-aid measures
First aider: Pay attention to self-protection! Avoid contact with the product. When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.
After inhalation:
Remove to fresh air and keep warm and at rest. Consult a physician.
After contact with skin:
Wash and rinse with plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing. If irritation persists or rush occurs call a physician.
After contact with eyes:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing, Consult an ophthalmologist.
After ingestion:
Rinse the mouth with plenty of water (only if the person is conscious) and obtain immediate medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to aunconscious person or a person with cramps. Observe risk of aspiration if vomiting occurs.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Water spray, alcohol resistant foam, Carbon dioxide (CO2), dry extinguishing powder.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
High power water jet
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
On intense heating explosive mixture with air possible (dusts).
Emission of irritating and toxic fumes and gases.
In case of fire may be liberated: Carbon oxides
Advice for firefighters:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
Additional information:
Use water spray jet to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers. Suppress gases/vapours/mists with water spray jet. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. Do not allow entering drains or surface water.
Accidental release measures
Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Use personal protection equipment. Avoid dust formation.
In the immediate working surroundings there must be: eye shower
Environmental precautions:
Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Take up carefully when dry. For larger quantities: Use suitable dust binding material. Collect in closed and suitable containers for disposal. Clean up affected area.
Handling and storage
Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Use personal protection equipment.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Usual measures for fire prevention.
Further information on handling:
Keep container tightly closed. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice: Do not eat, drink, and smoke. Wash hands before break and after work.
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels:
Keep away from heat. Protect from sunlight. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from oxygen.
Hints on joint storage
For storage in a common place refer to the respective regulations. Do not store together with oxidising agents.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Provide adequate ventilation.
Protective and hygiene measures:
When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands before breaks and after work. Remove contaminated, saturated clothing immediately.
Eye/face protection:
Wear tightly fitting safety goggles. (DIN EN 166)
Hand protection:
Tested protective gloves must be worn (DIN EN 374). The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function ofthe specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances. Recommended glove material: Nitrile rubber. Minimal thickness of the glove material for penetration time 8 h: 0,11 mm
Skin protection:
Wear suitable chemical resistant protective clothing. Choose suitable personal protection equipment dependent on substance concentration and amount specific for workplace. Chemical resistance should be clarified with the supplier.
Respiratory protection:
The selection of appropriate respiratory protection systems should be determined depending on the exposure conditions. At exposure to dust or mist respiratory equipment with particle filter P3 (EN 143) recommended. Maintenance, testing and change of the filter cartridges must be performed following the recommendations of the supplier.
Environmental exposure controls
Do not allow to enter into soil/subsoil.
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Stability and reactivity
Reacts slowly with oxygen.
In general: For flammable organic substances dust explosion potential is assumed when finely dispersed in air.
Chemical stability:
The product is stable under storage at normal ambient temperatures.
Conditions to avoid:
heat, UV-radiation/sunlight
Incompatible materials:
strong acids, strong bases,
oxidising agents
Hazardous decomposition products
No known hazardous decomposition products
Disposal considerations
Chemicals and packages as waste must be disposed of in accordance with Directive 2008/98/EC and the respective national and local regulations. Consult your local or regional authorities.
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation.
Contaminated packaging
Non-contaminated packages may be recycled. Handle contaminated packages in the same way as the substance itself. Do not contaminate ground- or surface waters via drainage, by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes.
