Administrative data
First-aid measures
General: Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Move into fresh air and keep at rest. Treat symptomatically.
Description of first aid measures
Inhalation: Move into fresh air and keep at rest. Consult a physician for specific advice.
Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove contact lenses.
Skin Contact: Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Apply skin cream.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse nose, mouth and throat with water. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. Never give liquid to an unconscious person.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: Symptoms may be delayed. Severely irritating to eyes.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Hazards: May be fatal if swallowed. Harmful in contact with skin. Causes serious eye irritation.
Treatment: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, remove contact lenses. Wash off promptly and flush contaminated skin with water. Promptly remove clothing if soaked through and flush skin with water. Get medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
General Fire Hazards: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains.
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: All standard extinguishing agents are suitable.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Avoid water in straight hose stream; will scatter and spread fire.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed.
Advice for firefighters
Special fire fighting procedures: Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. Do not empty into drains.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing. Prevent runoff from fire control or dilution from entering streams, sewers, or drinking water supply.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. DO NOT touch spilled material. Handle and open container with care. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Keep away from heat. Keep container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place. Remove sources of ignition. Do not taste or swallow. Use personal protective equipment. Do not get in eyes. Remove and wash contaminated clothing promptly. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Environmental Precautions: Do not allow runoff to sewer, waterway or ground. Inform the relevant authorities if the product has caused environmental pollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air).
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Take up with an absorbent for chemicals or, otherwise use dry sand. Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Wash promptly with soap and water if skin becomes contaminated. People working with this product should get instructions before use. This product should only be used in an industrial workplace. Avoid exposure - obtain special instructions before use. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Use only in well-ventilated areas. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Handle and open container with care. Do not get in eyes, on skin, on clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not taste or swallow.
Storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.
Storage Stability: No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
Specific end use(s): No data available.
