First-aid measures
rest. If not breathing (if breathing is irregular of if
respiratory arrest occurs) provide artificial respiration of
oxygen by trained personnel. It may be dangerous to the
person providing aid to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Get medical attention of adverse health effects persist of
are severe. If unconscious, place in recovery position.
Maintain an open airway. Loosen tight clothing such as a
collar, tie, belt or waistband.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Remove contacts.
On contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes with clean and
flowing water with the eyelids open for at least 10 minutes.
Seek after medical advice, if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
On contact with skin, wash off immediately with plenty of
water.
Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Remove dentures depending on
wether the person have one. Move exposed person to fresh
air. Keep person warm and at rest. If material has been
swallowed and the exposed person is conscious, give small
quantities of water to drink. Stop if the exposed person
feels sick. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by
mouth to an unconscious person. If unconscious, place in
recovery position and get medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
fire-extinguishing media or carbon dioxide.
Extinguishing media like full water jet should not be used
for safety reasons.

Protective equipment: Use breathing apparatus with independent air supply
(isolated). Wear full protective clothing including helmet.
Accidental release measures
ignition sources, immediately. Avoid breathing vapour or
mist. Wear an appropriate respirator when ventilation is
inadequate.
Stop leak but only without risk. Move containers from spill
area. Approach release from upwind. Contain and collect
spillage with non-combustible, absorbent material e.g. sand,
earth, vermiculite or diatomaceous earth and place in
container for disposal, according to local regulations. Use
spark-proof tools and explosion-proof equipment. Dispose of
via a licensed waste disposal contractor. Contaminated
absorbent material may pose the same hazard as the spilled
product.
Avoid dispersal of spilled material and contact with soil,
waterways, drains and sewers. Inform the relevant
authorities if the product has caused environmental
pollution (sewers, waterways, soil or air).
Handling and storage
guard equipment must be used during filling, transfering and
metering as well as during sampling. If necessary, any
vapours/aerosols that can be formed should be extracted
directly at the point of origin. Use explosion-proof
electrical (ventilating, lighting and material handling)
equipment. Use non-sparking tools. Take precautionary
measures against electrostatic discharges. To avoid fire or
explosion, dissipate static electricity during transfer by
grounding and bonding containers and equipment before
transferring material.
If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not
possible or are insufficient, the wearing of respiratory
protection is recommended. To avoid skin contact,
tested protective gloves (e.g. nitrile according to EN 374
and 388) should be worn. To avoid eye contact, goggles
should be worn.
Wash hands before break and after work. Change contaminated
clothing immediately.
Storage: Keep under inert atmosphere. Under normal conditions (dry,
cool, well-ventilated and in original container) of storage
and use, hazardous polymerization will not occur.
Avoid all possible sources of ignition (spark or flame) and
store separately from oxidizing materials. Do not
pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose
containers to heat or sources of ignition. Do not reuse
container.
