Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General information
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose off safely. In case of persisting adverse effects, consult a physician.
After inhalation
Fresh air. Get medical attention if pain still persists.
After skin contact
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water.
After eye contact
Separate eyelids, wash the eyes thoroughly with water (ca. 15 min).
After ingestion
Induce the patient to vomit of his own accord only if fully conscious. Summon a doctor immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Product itself is non-combustible; adapt fire extinguishingmeasures to surrounding areas.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Use self-contained breathing apparatus.
When burned, can produce hazardous fumes.
If necessary use a self-contained breathing apparatus and flame protective clothing. Cool the endangered containers with a stream of water spray. Contaminated fire-fighting water must be collected separately.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Refer to protective measures listed in sections 7 and 8.
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater.
Methods for cleaning up/taking up: Take up mechanically. Send in suitable containers for recovery or disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling:
Advice on safe handling: no special measures necessary.
Storage:
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Do not use light metal drums. Appropriate material: plastic
Advice on storage assembly: Do not store together with: light metals, Aluminium, Halogens
Further information on storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed. Store in a dry place. Keep in a cool place.

Exposure controls:
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection: Use breathing apparatus in dust-laden atmosphere.
Hand protection: Sufficient protection is given wearing suitable protective gloves checked according to i.e. EN 374, in the event of risk of skin contact with the product. Before use, the protective glove should be tested in any case for its specific work-station suitability (i.e. mechanical resistance, product compatibility and antistatic properties). Adhere to the manufacturer's instructions and information relating to the use, storage, care and replacement of protective gloves. Protective gloves shall be replaced immediately when physically damaged or worn. Design operations thus to avoid permanent use of protective gloves.
