Description of key information

The test item reached 15% biodegradation after 28 days.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was determined following the methods outline in the OECD 301F guidelines. Following these methods the test item reach 15% biodegradation after 28 days. This was calculated from the oxygen consumption values. The test item cannot be considered readily biodegradable. The toxicity control acheived 37% biodegradation after 14 days and 41% biodegradation after 28 days. This confirms the test item is not toxic to the sewage treatment micro-organisms used in the test.
