First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
If symptoms continue, call a doctor/physician.
IF ON SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and flush skin with water. Wash contaminated clothes before reuse.
IF IN EYES: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention immediately.
IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth with water. Give large quantities of water. Induce vomiting. If you feel unwell, get medical advice/attention.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:
May cause an allergic skin reaction. Suspected of damaging the unborn child. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
No information
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media:
Suitable extinguishing media:
Use water mist, dry chemical powder, fire foam, carbon dioxide or sand.
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Applying direct water may be dangerous because fire may expand to surroundings.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
No information.
Advice for firefighters:
No information.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
For non-emergency personnel:
Keep out except responsible personnel around the spilled place (e.g. with a rope).
For emergency responders:
Wear protective equipment. Prevent skin contact and aspiration.
Environmental precautions
Avoid release into the environment because product may cause local effects.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Small spills should be cleaned with proper absorbent. Large spills should be collected for proper disposal. Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations.
Reference to other sections
Refer to “Section 8 Exposure controls/ personal protection” and “Section 13 Disposal consideration” as appropriate.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Containment and measures for safe handling:
Install appropriate equipment and wear suitable protective apparatus described in "Section 8 Exposure controls/ personal protection".
Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood.
Keep away from heat and flame. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Use with adequate ventilation.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
Avoid release to the environment.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Keep container closed. Store in a dry and well ventilated area.
Specific end use(s)
Industrial use.
