Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Relative density

EEC A.3

(CIPAC MT 3.2.1)

Absolute - 1.044 g/ml

Relative - 1.044

Conclusions:
The average of calculated relative density at 20°C temperature was 1.044.
Executive summary:

In accordance with OECD guideline EEC Method A3 and GLP study, the relative density was measured using Gay-Lussac pycnometer at temperature 20ºC. The density was calculated by dividing the mass of tested substance by its volume (pycnometer volume). Two measurement was carried out as the difference between result was less than 0.03 g/ml. The average of relative density at temperature 20ºC was 1.044 and of absolute density was 1.044 g/ml.

Description of key information

Key study: OECD guideline Method A3 and GLP study. The average of calculated relative density at 20°C temperature was 1.044.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.044
