Under the conditions of the present test, Salbutamol Base induced no effects in Daphnia magna exposed to a concentration of 100 mg/l. Hence, the 48h-EC50 for mobility of Daphnia magna was above 100 mg/l, the maximum concentration to be tested.
Executive summary:

A limit test was combined with a range-finding test exposing daphnids to Salbutamol Base concentrations of 0.1, 1.0, 10 and 100 mg/l. The 100 mg/l test group consisted of two vessels containing 10 daphnids per vessel. The 0.1,1.0 and 10 mg/l test groups consisted of one vessel containing 10 daphnids.

The study did not induce sampling for determination of actual exposure concentrations.

Salbutamol Base induced no effects in Daphnia magna exposed to a concentration of 100 mg/l. Hence, the 48h-EC50 for mobility of Daphnia magna was above 100 mg/l, the maximum concentration to be tested.
