First-aid measures
DESCRIPTION OF FIRST-AID MEASURES
- In case of skin contact: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Immediately wash with plenty of water and soap the body areas which come in contact to the substance, also in the case of suspect contact. Wash thoroughly all over the body (shower or bath).
- In case of eye contact:
Rinse cautiously with water for adeguate times and taking the eyelids opened; thus immediately contact the ophthalmologist. Protect the unaffected eye.
- If swellowed:
Do not give nothing to eat or drink.
- In case of inhalation:
MAIN SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS, BOTH ACUTE AND CHRONIC
None
INDICATION OF ANY NEED TO CONSULT IMMEDIATELY A DOCTOR AND IN CASE OF SPECIFIC TREATMENTS
If exposed or if you feel unwell: immediately call a doctor/physician (if possible, show the label or the datasheet).
Treatment: none
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media: water. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
Extinguishing media which have not to bu used for safety reasons: avoid water jets which may disperse the substance.
SPECIAL HAZARDS CONNECTED TO THE SUBSTANCE or MIXTURE
Do not breathe the gases generated by the explosion and by the combustion. Combustion produces heavy smoke.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PEOPLE EMPLOYED IN THE FIRE EXTINCTION
Use suitable breathing apparatus.
Wear self-contained breathing, gloves, protective footwear. WARNING: pressurized containers may explode when exposed to fire. It is reccomended the use of the self-contained breathing,
Collected separately the contaminated water used to extinguish the fire. Do not discharge into sewers.
If feasible in terms of safety, move from the area of immediate danger, the undamaged containers.
Accidental release measures
PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Use personal protective equipment as required. Move people to a safety place.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Prevent entry into soil and deeper layers. Prevent the outflow into water or into the sewer.
Store the contaminated wash water and eliminate it.
In case of gas leak or entry into water, soil or sewer inform the authorities.
Suitable material for substance collection: absorbent material, organic, sand.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND RECLAMATION
Wash with abundant water.
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Avoid the contact with skin and eye, the inhalation of vapours and mists.
Do not use empty containers, before they will be cleaned.
Before transfer the substance, ascertain that in containers there are no residual materials incompatible.
Contaminated clothes should be substituted before enter into the dining areas.
Do no eat, drink when using this product.
SAFE STORAGE CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITY
Keep away from foods, drinks and fodder.
Incompatible materials: none.
Indications for rooms: rooms adequately ventilated.
Specific end use: none.
