Disregarded study inhibitory effect
The inhibitory effect of the test substance on the cell multiplication of the bacterium Pseudomonas putida was investigated in a 16-hour static test according to DIN EN ISO 10712 (February 1996). The test substance was not tested in a pure quality. The test substance was tested in the concentration range between 1250 and 10000 mg/L (nominal). The dilution factor was 2. The following results show the nominal concentrations of the test sample that causes after 16 h an inhibition of bacterial cell multiplication by 10% (EC10), 50% (EC50) and 90% (EC90) compared to the untreated control: EC10 (16 h) => 10000 mg/L (nominal), EC50 (16 h) > 10000 mg/L (nominal), EC90 (16) > 10000 mg/L (nominal). The validity criteria were fulfilled by the test.
Disregarded study respiratory inhibition test
The toxicity to microorganisms of the test item was tested in a study according to OECD guideline 209. The test substance was not tested in pure quality. The respiratory inhibition was tested with activated sludge predominantly domestic sewage. A static teset was performed with nominal concentrations of 1000, 500 and 100 mg/L. As reference substance 3,5-Dichlorphenol was used. The test substance was tested in only pure quality. The EC20 value was determined to be ca. 900 mg/L. No EC50 value were measured.
