First-aid measures
Inhalation : Move the person away from the contaminated area.
Skin contact : Wash with water. In case of inflammation (redness, irritation, ...) obtain medical attention.
Eye contact : Rinse with running water whilst keeping the eyes wide open. (at least 15 minutes). If irritation persists, consult a doctor.
Ingestion : NEVER attempt to induce vomiting. Rinse mouth out with water. If necessary seek medical advice.
Protection of first-aiders : - glasses with side shields. - appropriate gloves.
Further information : Use appropriate protective equipment when treating a contaminated person. Place contaminated clothing in a sealed
bag for disposal.

- Suitable : All extinguishing agents can be used.
- Not suitable : None to our knowledge. If there is a fire close by, use suitable extinguishing agents.
Specific hazards : Aqueous liquid. Does not present any particular risk in the event of a fire.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : Avoid contact with eyes, skin and respiratory system - eye/face protection (safety glasses + visor). - PVC gloves. -
acid-resistant protective clothing. Mark out the contaminated area with signs and prevent access to unauthorized personnel. Prevent the product from entering cellars, basements or pits.
Environmental precautions : Avoid direct discharge into drains. Contain the spilled material by bunding.
Methods for cleaning up
- Prohibited : As far as possible, NEVER aim a water jet directly at a liquid.
- Recovery : Sweep up or vacuum up the product. Collect up the product and place it in a spare container suitably labelled.
- Neutralization : Absorb spillage with dry sand, acid-resistant absorbent material.
- Cleaning/Decontamination : After neutralizing, spray with large amounts of water.
- Disposal : Place in an appropriate container and dispose of the contaminated material at a licensed site.
Handling and storage
HANDLING
Technical measures
