First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: May be irritating.

Remove victim to fresh air. Keep victim at rest.

Consult a doctor.
Emergency measure - Eyes: May be mildly irritating.

Wash out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide
open for at least 15 minutes. Consult a doctor.
Emergency measure - Skin: May be mildly irritating.

Slight redness.

Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off affected skin with
plenty of water. Consult a doctor in the event of any
complaints.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Harmful.

Rinse mouth and throat thoroughly with water.

Consult a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: A.F.F.F., water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide.

Product arising from burning: Carbon oxides, nitrous vapours.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective
clothing.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use appropriate personal protection. Prevent formation of
dust clouds. Evacuate area.

To collect material please use an approved industrial
vacuum cleaner. Mark the used vacuum cleaner accordingly
after use for the substance.

Remove all potential ignition sources.

Do not allow to enter naural waters or soil. Substance is
tested as not readily biodegradable.

Handling and storage

Handling: Use appropriate personal protection. Prevent forming of dust
clouds. Take precautionary measures against static
discharges. Ventilation required.

Avoid inhalatory exposure as well as eye and skin contact
with the substance.

Upon (re-)packing and dosing as well as sampling preferrably
low dust equipment should be used. Where dust clouds are
formed these should be removed by proper suction.

In case suction or ventilation is not possible or
insufficient breath protection (full face mask or half face
mask with P2 filter) should be worn.

For the prevention of skin and eye contact experimentally
tested gloves and safety glasses or a face shield are
recommended.

From experience the following materials for gloves are
suitable for non-dissolved solids:

polychloropropene, neoprene, nitile- butyl- and fluor
(viton) rubber, and PVC.

Because of the potential danger of dust explosion, ignition
sources should be absent from places where dust formation is
possible.

Also electostatic discharging is to be taken care of.

Storage: Keep container tightly closed.

Use break-proof containers that are secured against
tumbling.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Carton boxes, equipped with 2 PE inner bags. Content 10 kg.

Stability and reactivity

Danger other than fire: Harmful if swallowed. Dike fire control water for later
disposal.

Chemical reaction with water: Under neutral or basic conditions the ester will react back
to the free carboxilic (amino-) acid.

Dust explosion: Finely dispersed particles might be sensitive to dust
explosion.

Dust explosion determined by test: N

Disposal considerations
