Test water analysis: The measured concentrations of the test substance in test water were maintained at more than 80 % (peak 1) and more than 135 % (peak 2), It was reported that parts of the test substance were converted in the test water in the biodegradation test (Test No. 13155), It was considered that the measured concentrations of peak 1 were lower and peak 2 were higher than the nominated concentrations, because a part of peak 1 was also converted to peak 2 in this test.

Test fish analysis: It was suggested that the test substance (peak 2 and peak 3) was adsorbed by or reacted with fish body, because it was not recovered from test fish. Therefore, the fish body was pretreated with a protease, and substances which seemed to originate from the test substance were recovered. It is considered that they were substances converted by the pretreatment with protease, named “converted products” hereafter, because they were different from the test substance in the retention time of HPLC. The recovery rate of the converted products was 63 % when it was determined based on a comparison with the test substance.
