First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for several minutes. Seek immediate medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Remove contaminated clothing.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, waterspray (do not use a direct jet of

water), foam or dry powder.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen together with hydrogen chloride and hydrogen

fluoride gas and some soot.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Prevent the

material from spreading eg. by damming with absorptive

material. Soak up spilled material with sand, soil,

diatomaceous earth etc. Collect the material and transfer to

labelled containers and dispose of by incineration in

accordance with local regulations. Empty containers should

also be disposed of by incineration. Wash spill site with

water, do not allow washings to enter water courses.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and avoid inhalation of

vapours. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working. Gloves,

goggles or face shield and, in cases of heavy exposure, a

gas mask with universal filter (e.g. B 620 St) should be

worn.

Thoroughly clean protective gear and contaminated equipment

with soap or soda solution after use.

Storage: Store the product in closed original containers. Protect

from light and humidity.

Store separate from pesticides, fertilizers, food and feed.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Use 200 litre plastic-lined drums.
