Executive summary:

The mutagenic potential of 4-Bromo-2,6-difluorobenzoic acid was tested according to OECD 471 with and without metaboic activation system. The study showed no increased mutation frequencies after incubation with 4-Bromo-2,6-difluorobenzoic acid with and without metabolic activation. Consequently, 4-Bromo-2,6-difluorobenzoic acid is not mutagenic in this test system.
