First-aid measures

Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure, keep warm and at rest.

Obtain immediate medical attention if ill effects occur.

Skin contact:       Remove contaminated clothing.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of water followed by soap and water.  If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

Contaminated clothing should be laundered before re-use.

Eye contact:       IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.

Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.  If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

Ingestion:       Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water.  Never give liquids to an unconscious person.  Do NOT induce vomiting. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTRE/doctor if you feel unwell.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:       water spray, foam, dry powder or CO2

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture :       Not classed as flammable.

If involved in a fire, it may emit noxious and toxic fumes.

Advice for fire-fighters: A self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing must be worn in fire conditions.

Ensure suitable personal protection (including respiratory protection) during removal of spillages.

Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.

Spillages or uncontrolled discharges into watercourses must be alerted to the appropriate regulatory body.

Protect against dust.  Clear up spillages.

Transfer to a container for disposal.

Wash the spillage area clean.

Washings must be prevented from entering surface water drains.
