The flammability of Cu(II)IDHA was determined according to EU Method A.10 (Frączak, 2011) in compliance with GLP. After the preliminary screening test, the burning time over a distance of 200 mm path was determined. However, the burning times were longer than time of acceptance criteria (240 s). Since these results are negative, it is not necessary to go to the next stage of determination. Cu(II)IDHA is not highly flammable in accordance with the test criteria outlined in EU Method A.10.
Justification for classification or non-classification
With regard to the available data for Cu(II)IDHA (EU Method A.10; Frączak, 2011) , the substance is classified as non flammable in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
