Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The following results were obtained for the test substance 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide:

72h NOEC = 4.6 mg/l
ErC50= 110 mg/l
EbC50 = 100 mg/l
EyC50 = 98 mg/l

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
110 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
4.6 mg/L

Additional information

The following results were obtained for the test substance 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide:

72h NOEC = 4.6 mg/l

ErC50= 110 mg/l

EbC50 = 100 mg/l

EyC50 = 98 mg/l

All validity criteria were fulfilled. The data showed sufficient statistical correlation with the regression equation to estimate the EC50. The calculated EC50 for the reference substance was in the normal range for the test laboratory. Analytical determination of the test concentration in the test cultures indicated very close correlation with the nominal concentrations. The test substance 9,10-Dihydro-9-oxa-10- phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide is thus considered stable under the test conditions and the biological results are based on the nominal concentrations. The results can be regarded as valid.
