Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water; if irritation occurs, seek
medical advice
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Symptomatic treatment; in case of indisposition seek medical
advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon, and nitrogen oxide
as well as fluorinated derivatives
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
appropriate personal protective equipment (see section
"Handling").
Solids: sweep up avoiding formation of dust (wet powders
with water or use an approved industrial vacuum cleaner)
and place in suitable according to TRGS 201 labelled
containers for disposal. Dispose of waste material in
authorized incineration facilities.
Handling and storage
sollten vermieen werden. Bei Umfüll- und Dosierarbeiten
sowie bei Probenahmen sollten nach Möglichkeit staubdichte
Vorrichtungen verwendet werden. Beim Umgang in offenen
geprüften Schutzhandschuhen (z.B.:::) empfohlen.
Zur Vermeidung von Augenkontakt wird das Tragen eines
sicheren Augenschutzes (z.B. Schutzbrille) empfohlen.
Die Straßenkleidung sollte getrennt von der Arbeitskleidung
aufbewahrt werden. Bei möglicher Staubentwicklung sollten
wegen der potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr potentielle
Zündquellen aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des
Weiteren sollten Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische
Aufladungen getroffen werden.
"ENGLISH"
Inhalation of the substance as well as skin and eye contact
should be avoided. If possible, dustproof equipment should
be used during transfer, metering and sampling. In the case
of handling in open systems, any dust that may form should
be extracted directly at the point of origin. If technical
extraction or ventilation measures are not possible or are
insufficient, respiratory protection (e.g. :::) should be
worn. The wearing of tested protective gloves (e.g. :::) is
recommended in order to avoid skin contact. The wearing of
safe eye protection (e.g. goggles) is recommended to avoid
skin contact.
Outdoor clothes should be kept separate from working
clothes. If there is the possibility of dust forming,
due to the potential dust-explosion risk, ignition sources
should be removed from the working area. In addition,
meaasures should be take to prevent static discharge.
Storage: The substance should be stored in well sealed, according to
the regulations labelled and secure containers in adequate
rooms at room temperature. The containers should be secured
against falling down. Avoid residues outside the containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Adequate plastic containers

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: No dangerous reaction with water
Dust explosion: Not to be expected if handled under good industrial hygiene
practices.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
by reaction to the resulting dyestuff.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No suitable method known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Deposit in landfill site.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration with flue gas scrubbing.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Removal by controlled discharge to a waste water treatment
plant. A purification of the waste water in a waste water
treatment plant is recommended.
If necessary the waste water can be purified prior to the
waste water treatment by membrane filtration or by
floculation with cationic agents or by treatment with ozone.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable
