- Platinum, aqua nitrate complexes form as a solution in nitric acid and water. The complex is unstable outside of solution so a melting point cannot easily be established for the complex itself.
An approximate vapour pressure table for the solution is shown in the table attached in "Attached Justification", below, for Nitric Acid (Source: Chemical Rubber Company handbook of Chemistry and Physics, 99th edition. CRC Press, 2018).
