Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the water solubility of AGEE 623 Amidester was determined to be lower than the quantification limit (0.1 mg/L) at room temperature (about 20°C).
Executive summary:

The determination of the Water Solubility of AGEE 623 Amidester was based on the EEC directive 92/69, Annex V, Part A, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A.6 “Water solubility”, EEC Piblication No. L383 (December 1992) and the OECD No. 105, “Water solubility” (July 1995) and EPA Product Properties Test Guideline OPPTS 830.7840 and 830.7860 (1996).

The water solubility of AGEE 623 Amidester was estimated to be < 1 g/L by visual judgement in the preliminary test.

The saturation concentration of AGEE 623 Amidester at room temperature was analytically estimated by a simplified flask method in an additional pre-test. After a pre-incubation of 5 days at 30°C in a shaking water bath, the concentration of the saturated solutions prepared were determined to be < 0.1 mg/l (quantification limit). Therefore no further solubility tests were performed.
