Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Vapour pressure:

Remarks on result:
other: It is proposed that the above result be taken as a satisfactory assessment of maximum vapour pressure for the substance.

See attached background material for calculation method, results table and vapour pressure curves.

The curvature evident in the displays of the vapour pressure relationship jeopardises the applicability of a linear extrapolation and it is felt prudent to estimate a maximum room temperature value by imposing a shallow slope of -2000 for the vapour pressure relationship. This yields for the initial data of Run 3 (mass difference 0.3 µg at l15.5°C) a rounded value of Vp(25°C) = 1.1 E-05 Pascals.

It is proposed that the above result be taken as a satisfactory assessment of maximum vapour pressure for the substance.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure was determined to be 1.1 E-05 Pascals at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

Vapour pressure was determined in accordance with EEC Method A4 and OECD Method 104 using the vapour pressure balance method.

The vapour pressure was determined to be 1.1 E-05 Pascals at 25 °C.
