Melting/boiling point (DSC)

In both DSC runs one endothermic effect was observed in the temperature range from 370 °C through 530 °C. In both DSC runs no further endothermic or exothermic effect was detected.

The DSC graphic showe an endothermic effect beginning at 370 °C with a mass loss of approx. 78 %. Effects may be a decomposition/transformation.

Conclusions:
The DSC graphic show an endothermic effect beginning at 370 °C with a mass loss of approx. 78 % of the test substance. However, this effect is not assigned to a melting or boiling of the test itembut may be a decomposition/transformation. Hence, no definitive signs of melting/boiling of the test substance was observed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement up to 600 °C. The measurement was performed in accordance with Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.1/A.2. and OECD Test Guideline 102/103 (1995) at atmospheric pressure (995 hPa).

Description of key information
