Results - Thermal stability (DSC)

In the DSC measurement a first endothermic effect was oberserved in the temperature range of 140 to 200 °C. A second endothermic effect was observed in the temperature range 240 to 390 °C. No exothermal signal appears until the final measurement temperature of 500 °C. Due to the decomposition energy being below the threshold of -500 J/g, further tests for explosive properties did not have to be performed.

 

Final Results

In the DSC-measurement no exothermic decomposition of the test item CUREZOL 2MAOK­ PW was detected until the final measurement temperature of 500 °C. Therefore, further tests for explosive properties had not to be performed. According to the results of the test on explosive properties, the test item is classified as follows:

UN Transport Regulation: The test item does not have to be classified as explosive substance in class 1 according to the UN Transport Regulation.

GHS (CLP Regulation EC 127212008 : Annex 1: 2.1): The test item does not have to be classified as explosive substance according to GHS or CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 Annex 1: 2.1, respectively
