Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

No definitive conclusion on persistence can be drawn for the constituent C31H48N4O2. However, the constituent is below the threshold for bioaccumulation and the available data indicates that it is not T, and therefore not PBT or vPvB.

No definitive conclusion on persistence could be made for theconstituent C29H42N4O2.For bioaccumulation, the predictions are below the B threshold based on the regression-based method, but above based on the Arnot Gobas method. The predictions are below the vB threshold for both methods. As the constituent is not considered to be vP or vB, and it is not T, it is not considered to be vPvB or PBT.

Based on modelled data, the constituent C27H36N4O2was identified to be potentially P and is above the screening threshold for both bioaccumulative and very bioaccumulative. Based on the available toxicity data the substance is not T, and therefore not PBT. The Biowin 3 result of 2.13 for C27H36N4O2is close the Biowin 3 screening level of 2.25 and therefore, the substance is unlikely to be vP and therefore the substance is not vPvB.

Overall, the substance Reaction product of MDI, Octylamine and Cyclohexylamine is not PBT or vPvB.
