Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water with the eye lids open for 10
minutes. If irritation persists, consult an ophthalmologist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash off with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Product is not toxic. For reasons of precaution, seek medica
l advice.
Fire-fighting measures
measures to the fire surroundings. Cool endangered
containers with water spray jet, if necessary.
Product arising from burning: Product is stable to > 1200 °C. At lower temperatures
no risk of formation of toxic pyrolysis or combustion
products.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Co-ordinate protective clothing to the fire surroundings.
Accidental release measures
fine-dust mask. Cover drains. For cleaning use industrial
vacuum cleaners. Place recovered material mechanically into
labelled, resistant container and dispose as powdery waste
(waste code 070308).
Handling and storage
extracted directly at the point of origin, wear fine-dust
mask if necessary. In the immediate vicinity of the working
area, eyewash safety stations should be available.
Storage: Store in tightly closed original containers in a cool and
dry place. The product is stable under normal storage
conditions. The product is not combustible. VCI storage
class 13.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Dust-proof HDPE-container, 30 litre content.

Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None
Dust explosion: The product is an inorganic oxide, which cannot be further
oxidized. Therefore, no risk of dust explosion exists.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
liquid and solid. Contaminated substance or substance
accidently spilled may be returned to the manufacturer.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not necessary, because no hazards arise from the test
substance.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Deposition at a landfill for municipal waste possible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration because of the chemical structure senseless and
unnecessary.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: No special treatment necessary
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not practical
