First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
General information: get medical advice/ attention if you feel unwell.
After inhalation: if inhaled, remove to fresh air.
After contact with skin: if in skin, wash with plenty of soap and water.
After contact with eyes: in the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
After ingestion: if swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately. Treat symptomatically.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Symptoms: no symptoms known currently.
Hazards: no hazards known at this time.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treatment: treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media: product is compatible with standard fire-fighting agents.
Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons: no restrictions.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: in case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as Carbon oxides, Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Sulphur oxides.
Advice for firefighters
Special protective equipment for firefighting: self-contained breathing apparatus.
Further information: cool container and metallic parts with a water spray jet.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: wear suitable protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: the product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: take up mechanically and dispose of

Additional information
For personal protection see section regarding exposure controls/personal protection.
Information regarding Waste Disposal, see section regarding disposal considerations.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling: when used and handled appropriately no special measures are needed.
Hygiene measures: wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday; take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse; this preparation is classified as non-hazardous. However the usual precautions for handling chemicals must be observed to avoid contact with the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. In case of contact with the product, wash the eye immediately with running water and the skin with water and soap.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion
Avoid dust formation. This product is not itself explosive. However, finely divided powder dispersed in air may form dust clouds which can give rise to dust explosions.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Further information on storage conditions: keep container tightly closed.
Specific end use(s): no further recommendations.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters
Exposure limit values: exposure limit values are not available.
Exposure controls
General protective measures: observe the usual precautions for handling chemicals.
Respiratory protection: in case of dust formation, use a fine dust face mask.
Hand protection: chemical resistant gloves; take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).
Eye protection: safety glasses.
Body protection: working clothes.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: see "Possibility of hazardous reactions" below.
Chemical stability: stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions: risk of dust explosion. No dangerous reaction known under conditions of normal use. Stable.
Conditions to avoid: none known.
Incompatible materials: none known.
Hazardous decomposition products: when handled and stored appropriately, no dangerous decomposition products are known.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods
Product: dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Uncleaned packaging: packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste.
Composition: C; H; N; Na; O; S.
