Description of key information

One acute Daphnia magna study has been reported. The 24 hour EC50 was found to be to be 3.7 mg/L.

As a long-term toxicity study is available for invertebrates, the short-term study does not have to be repeated with a test duration of 48 h.

Additional information

A 24 hour acute toxicity study was performed exposing Daphnia magna to a range of concentrations of diphenyl cresyl phosphate. The 24 hour EC50 was found to be to be 3.7 mg/L (with 95% confidence limits of 3. 0to 4.3 mg/L), based on nominal exposure concentrations.
