Administrative data

First-aid measures

INHALATION :Remove to fresh air. If victim is not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
SKIN CONTACT:Immediately flush skin with copious amounts of water.
EYES CONTACT:Immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water at least 15 minutes.
INGESTION:Wash out mouth with water. If victim is conscious, call a physician immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

EXTINGUISHING MEASURES:Dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide water spray.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT :Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and heavy rubber gloves. Wear full protective equipment. Be sure to earth the installations.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:Wear protective clothing and equipment consistent with the degree of hazard
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS:For large spills, take precautions to prevent entry into waterways, sewers, or surface drainage systems.
CLEAN-UP METHODS:Collect and place it in a suitable, properly labelled container for recovery or disposal.

Handling and storage

HANDLING:Do not get in eyes, or skin or on clothing. Avoid dust cloud. Mechanical exhaust required. Wash thoroughly after handling.
STORAGE:Keep in a cool place. Keep tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

HAND PROTECTION:Impervious nitrile, rubber and latex gloves are recommended. If material is handled in solution, the solvents should also be considered when selecting protective clothing material.
EYE PROTECTION:Safety glasses with side-shield are recommended. Face shields or chemical safety goggles may be required if splach potential exists or if corrosive materials are present.
SKIN & BODY PROTECTION:Wear a laboratory coat when handling quantities up to 2 kg. For quantities over 2 kg, wear laboratory coat or coverall of low permeability. For manufacturing operations, wear coverall of low permeability.
HYGIENE:Wash hands and face before breaks and immediately after handling the product

Stability and reactivity

STABILITY: Stable under normal conditions of use. (see §7)
CONDITIONS TO AVOID:Keep closed in ventilated area. Avoid dust cloud.

Disposal considerations

PRECAUTIONS:Wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles.
WASTE AND PRODUCT DISPOSAL:Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an after-burner and scrubber.
CONTAMINATED PACKAGING MATERIAL:Incineration.
