Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

General Information

Implementation:
EU
Type of classification:
self-classification
Remarks:

The following classification and labelling refer only to the terbium metal content within the alloys. Other alloying elements or impurities (e.g. cobalt) are not taken into account and are subject of separate registration dossiers.

The need for classification of the Terbium alloy powders and granulates is dependent on the specific surface area (mm2/g) of the Terbium alloy powders. Alloy particles above 500 µm need not be classified as flammable solid. Classification of elemental Terbium (in alloys) in mixture in powder and granulated form as Flam. Solid 2 is dependent on the material particle size and imported quality.
