Details on results:
The water solubility of the test item has been determined to be at least 0.437g/l of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C monitoring the palladium concentration of the sample solutions; equivalent to a palladium acetate solubility of at least 0.922 g/l of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C. However, the solubilised palladium content of the sample solutions was confirmed to be unstable, with a decreasing concentration being obtained when applying the standard test method with stepwise extension of the initial sample saturation period. the definitive test result reported was obtained from a preliminary test from which the maximum observed solubility was achieved, applying an initial saturation period of 18.5 hrs and a final equilibration period of 4 hours respectively.

The water solubility of palladium (II) acetate has been determined to be at least 0.437 g/l of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C monitoring the palladium concentration of the sample solutions; equivalent to a palladium acetate solubility of at least 0.922 g/l of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.

The solubility of palladium(II) acetate in a 24h TDp screening test was determined at 11% at pH6 and 8.5 (Brouwers, 2020)
