Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: Buehler
Principles of method if other than guideline:
This assay is a minor variant of the "more sensitive" version of the Buehler assay (Arch. Dermatol. 1965,91,171-175). Induction was by dosing on days 1,3,5,8 10, and 12 (6 induction doses), with challenge on day 22. Dinitrochlorobenzene gave the expected response. The UK CA therefore considers that the test is an acceptable alternative under Annex V guidelines (see O.J. L251 pp 115-116).
