The test substance is known to rapidly hydrolyse in contact with water to form boric acid (CAS 10043-35-3), acetic acid (CAS 64-19-7), sodium acetate (CAS 127-09-3 ), and hydrogen (CAS 1333-74-0). For the hydrolysis products boric acid, acetic acid and sodium acetate relevant aquatic toxicity data was gathered from the ECHA dissemination dossier (d.d. 2014 -11 -19) and tabulated below.
