Description of key information

Various studies support the biodegradability of 2-methylpyridine in soil. The study by Sims and Sommers (1986) shows apparent biodegradation (100% loss)  of 2-methylpyridine in 24 days in a non-guideline study. A half-life in soil was not reported.
