Based on read across to the mono-consituent substance 3,5,5-trimethylhexanoic acid hexaester with dipentaerythritol (CAS 84418-63-3, mono-constituent), 3,5,5 trimethylhexanoic acid, mixed esters with dipentaerythritol (CAS 84418-63-3, UVCB) is regarded as not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria. The substance is thus not expected to be degradable by microorganisms in both the aquatic and terrestrial environments, and therefore in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, column 2, 9.2.1.2 - 9.2.1.4, further simulation tests for water, sediment or soil biodegradation are not proposed as no deviation in results is expected.
