Materials and methods

Principles of method if other than guideline:
The calculations were performed with the groundwater leaching model FOCUS-PEARL 4.4.4 under consideration of nine European scenarios (Châteaudun, Jokioinen, Hamburg, Okehampton, Kremsmünster, Piacenza, Porto, Sevilla, Thiva) as parameterized by FOCUS (FOrum of the Coordination of pesticide fate models and their USe).
Each scenario descroption includes soil and climate characteristics of the location as well as growth characteristics for a range of typically cultivated crops.
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)

Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

The maximum 80th percentiles of the predicted annual average leachate concentrations following application of Limus onto various crops at the different FOCUS locations was estimated for the winter cereals scenario at Okehampton with 0.041 µg/L of NBPT.
