Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Does not significantly accumulate in organisms

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Bioaccumulation of the substance is not expected due to the low log Pow of 0.65.

The is supported by a guideline study on the bioaccumulation of the substance. Fish (Cyprinus carpio) were exposed to test substance concentrations of 0.3 mg/L and 0.03 mg/L respectively. The test was terminated after 6 weeks of exposure. At a substance concentration of 0.3 mg/L a BCF of 0.7 - 1.8 was determined. At a concentration of 0.03 mg/L a BCF < 6.9 was detected (JETOC, 1992).
