Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

Histological and histochemical studies in liver tissue revealed extensive damage to hepatic parenchyma in these rats as compared to lesions produced by manganese sulphate alone.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
These findings suggest that workers, with liver dysfunction engaged in the manganese industry may be more susceptible to the toxic effects of this metal.
