According to the ECHA guidance "Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, Mai 2008) propylene glycol methyl ether acetate is not an oxidizing substance. Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate does not contain chemical groups associated with oxidising properties. With the absence of structural alerts testing is not necessary.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the ECHA guidance "Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, Mai 2008) propylene glycol methyl ether acetate is not an oxidizing substance. Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate does not contain chemical groups associated with oxidising properties. Hence, no classification for oxidising properties is required.
