Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General: Get medical attention immediately. Inhalation: Provide fresh air, warmth and rest, preferably in a comfortable upright sitting position.
Seek medical advice if symptoms appears. Skin: Remove immediately contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash the skin immediately with
soap and water. Seek medical advice if symptoms appears. Eyes: Important! Immediately rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse during transport. Ingestion: Rinse nose, mouth and throat with water. Drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting! May cause chemical burns in mouth and throat. Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Water spray, fog or mist, foam, powder, carbon dioxide. Special fire fighting procedures: Note that fire-extinction with water may discharge substances dangerous to the environment into sewage, wells and watercourses. Unusual fire hazards: Non-flammable. If involved in a fire it will support combustion. Hazardous combustion products: No typical hazardous decomposition products known.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: For personal protection see Section 8. Environmental precautions: Should not be allowed to enter drains or water courses.
Methods for cleaning up: Contain spill with inert material. Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth. Place in container for disposal according to local regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Storage: Store at ambient temperatures.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Comments: No exposure limits have been established. Engineering controls: Provide eyewash station and safety shower. Personal protection:
Hand Wear suitable protective gloves. Eyes: Wear tightly fitting safety goggles. Wear full face visor or shield. Skin and body: Use suitable protective clothing as protection against splashing or contamination. Launder clothes before re-use.
Stability and reactivity
Stability: Stable under recommended storage and handling conditions (see section 7). Conditions to avoid: Avoid contact with acids. Attacks copper and copper alloys. Hazardous decomposition products: No typical hazardous decomposition products known.
Disposal considerations
Disposal methods: Dispose of in accordance with local authority requirements. Incineration is recommended. Waste category: Hazardous waste in accordance with the Council Directive 91/689/EEC of 12 December 1991 on hazardous waste.
