Administrative data
- Endpoint:
- bioaccumulation in aquatic species, other
- Type of information:
- migrated information: read-across from supporting substance (structural analogue or surrogate)
- Adequacy of study:
- weight of evidence
- Reliability:
- 2 (reliable with restrictions)
- Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
- other: see 'Remark'
- Remarks:
- No guidance study, but well documented field study for the marine environment. Concentration factors represent the ration of Sr in organism to that in sea water. The chemical safety assessment of strontium chromate is based on elemental strontium and chromate concentrations and read across to strontium and chromate substances, becoming reading across from Cr(III). Justification for read across from Cr(III) is provided in the endpoint summary section.
