Additional information

Two tests for ready biodegradability (one followed OECD 301E and another one is equivalent to OECD 301C) indicated that the chemical only very slowly or not degraded under the conditions of the tests. The results of these tests show that TCPP is not readily biodegradable. One test for inherent biodegradability was also conducted, and the result of the test indicates that TCPP is inherently biodegradable.

From these studies we can conclude that the TCPP was inherent biodegradable and no further testing is necessary due to the low toxicity of this chemical and the low potential for release.
