The measurement in an aluminium crucible with a hole showed an exothermal decomposition in the temperature range of 25 — 180 °C with an overall energy of 1914 J/g. These effects are supposed to result from a reaction of the test item with the aluminium, as a white film at the surface of the aluminium crucible was observed after the measurement. In the same measurement two endothermic effects in the temperature range of 260 — 305 °C and 305 — 370 °C were observed. To avoid a reaction with the aluminium crucible the two additional measurements in open glass crucibles were performed These measurements showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 250 — 370 °C with an onset temperature of approximately 333 °C.
