Additional information

Fatty acids, tall-oil, compds. with N-[3-(dimethylaminio)propyl]tall-oil amides is not readily biodegradable with 33 % degradation observed in 28 days. However, it is inherently biodegradable with 97 % degradation observed in 28 days.

No data is available for biodegradation of Fatty acids, tall-oil, compds. with N-[3-(dimethylaminio)propyl]tall-oil amides in sediment and soil compartments. These simulation studies are considered unnecessary, since 70 % degradation of Fatty acids, tall-oil, compounds with N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]tall-oil amides was observed in 14 days without lag phase by using non-adapted inoculums in an inherent biodegradability test (OECD 302C); and hence Fatty acids, tall-oil, compounds with N-[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]tall-oil amides is expected to be not persistent in environment.
