Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The acute aquatic toxicity of the test substance to Daphnia magna was tested in a non-GLP study for a period of 48 hours. Two test vessels were prepared as a control of reconstituted water containing no test substance and two test vessels were prepared for each of the nominal test concentrations of 0.01, 0.1, 1.0, 10 and 100 mg/L. Five water fleas were randomly assigned to each of the control or test vessels. Animals were not fed during the course of the study and were kept at 20 °C ± 1 °C. No immobilisation of animals was observed at time points of 24 hours and 48 hours of exposure up to the highest nominal test concentration of 100 mg/L and the EC50 value after 48 hours hence is greater than 100 mg/L. No adverse effects were reported up to the nominal test concentration of 100 mg/L and the NOEC value after 48 hours hence is 100 mg/L.
