Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Remarks:
Criteria: mortality in blank < 10%, constant conditions throughout the test, dissolved oxygen concentration > 60 % of the air saturation value, stable concentration of test substance throughout the test
Conclusions:
LC50,96h calculated: > 100 mg/l
NOEC96h: 100 mg/l
LC0,96h: 100 mg/l
LC100,96h: > 100 mg/l
Executive summary:

This study was performed in order to determine the acute toxicity of CA 1139 A to Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).

The test was conducted according the OECD guideline 203.

10 fishes per concentration and control were used. Each aquarium was occupied by 5 fishes.

The nominal test concentrations were: 10, 18, 32, 58 and 100 mg test substance/l.

Mortalities were recorded after 24, 48, 72 and 96h exposure.

The fishes were examined daily for the symptoms.

The observed results were as follows:

LC50,96h calculated: > 100 mg/l

NOEC96h: 100 mg/l

LC0,96h: 100 mg/l

LC100,96h: > 100 mg/l

Values are based on nominal concentrations.
