Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The relative density of test substance was determined to be 1.32 at 20 °C±0.5 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.32

Additional information

The relative density of test substance was determined using EU Method A3 (air comparison pycnometer method using helium).

The test was carried out using a procedure in which the displacement of helium gas is used by the Micromeritics AccuPyc 1330TC Pycnometer to measure the volume and hence the density of a substance. Approximately 4.3 g of test substance was weighed in duplicate and analysed using 5 runs per weighing. The temperature of the water bath was kept within 20 °C±0.5 °C.

The relative density of the two test substance samples was determined at 1.3213 and 1.3171, respectively. Accordingly, the average relative density was calculated as 1.32.
