Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of EDTAFeHNa has been determined to be 2.4 x 10E-6 Pa at 25°C, by extrapolation from experimental data.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

EDTAFeHNa was tested according to OECD guideline 104, in a study scored as Klimisch 1, is selected as a key study.

In this experiment, the vapour pressure of EDTAFeHNa has been determined to be 2.4 x 10E-6 Pa at 25°C.

Similar low vapour pressure is expected with the analogue EDTA-FeNa.3H2O (CAS 15708-41-5) and all other EDTA salt (due to partically ionic substances). EDTA-FeNa.3H2O does not melt under the decomposition temperature of 211°C.The vapour pressure will be low. EDTN has a sufficiently low vapour pressure and is, derived from its structure, more volatile than EDTA-FeNa.
